Hey , It has been a week since I planned to kick off with my new blog. But, this cozy weather made me really lazy. Okay today i will share something interesting and different with you guys – vastu . We have debates held in our TOD Classes for the past two weeks . The topic for us was vastu. It was an interesting topic for a debate and i was against it . What do you guys think?? Vastu should be followed or not . Let me share my views points.

Vastu is basically a set of rules or policies which are followed by the people . Its true but now a days people are just blindly following it. It should be changed consequently with time and place . Whats happening in today is that vastu consultants are loitering it for money . People who blindly believe the vastu consultant . Its not vastu , its just pure science . The climatic factors which are looked into and followed for a comfortable living.

Giving an example : if there is a high riser in front of the northeast side of the house ,direct sunlight to the house is blocked . Considering this factor the house should be placed such a way that it receives better sunlight . So its basically the comfortability that matters.

Many places the vastu is changing as a belief . People are being fooled by the vastu consultants. There are many beautiful buildings all over the world which is still existing as wonders . Its all the science that matters . Vastu is just a name given to it.

What do you guys think about it ? Should it be followed or not followed . Hoping for more replies and comments . Girl online ,offline.

Hey guys , so its the first time i m writing a blog. So yah , now i m here cause we were told by our faculty to do one . Okay let me explain about the blog. Its related to one of our subjects called TOD (theory of design) ..ugh i know its complicated . I m gonna explain you people about it . When i think of theory ,its basically the written material which explains certain approaches towards architectural design. And what we architecture students do is try connecting things. I connect theory with history .But what is history? Where can we find history ? And how is it useful? N number of questions starts popping out . History is found in buildings ,which talks about the past. It tells us about the theory of each buildings or space. Then comes the question ,where is this history coming from ? The first architect VITRUVIUS , wrote the ten books of architecture . He was able to put each and every minute points of architecture in this 10 books . He used the well shaped man as a standard figure . The Vitruvian man which was drawn Leonardo da vinci explaining how human body fits inside a circle and a square, the symmetry and proportion . Architecture is a vast subject guys . And its only when we start observing things we get to know more about it .Okay i know its kinda boring,but its a deep topic to go into .
